another week

So, another week has gone by…

Not a lot has been happening to really report in…though I did borrow Dave’s reallllllly expensive camera yesterday and went a little photo crazee!
I may indeed take it again and see what I can come up with.

I am excited though, this weekend…minus it being V-day on sunday…I am going to get my hair re-done red.
As this colour has faded already…I mean, how bad is that…I also don’t believe that a “permanent” colour should continue to wash out whilst being in the shower, so I shall not be returning to that store.

Instead, I am going to a most awesome store called “Wildilocks” which is in the heart of Perth, as they specialise in Sepcial FX hair…my wanting to be a brilliantly bright red, really should not be that hard, I do not imagine…

interesting theory…

And so, it is quite interesting, well to me…to see the groups some people join on facebook(fagbook)
Now, some days…I really cannot help but giggle at a few of the names/people who joined and such…but there are just some groups that people join, that I sit here in my chair and think…”why the fuck did you, of all people join that group” I mean…some are fun, I get it…some are rude…i get it…but others are serious and people who I know don’t get it…join…

or the hypocrites who join groups…I love seeing those…my fingers just start itching…WANTING…to comment and remark about it…but alas…I don’t…because I keep the peace…unfortunately…

scrappings

it really is amazing about what you can find whilst out and about looking for a new journal to poor your mumblings into.
myself and Alex’s mother, Tina and Kate…went out looking for some journals, as mine is on its last few pages and they don’t have one and I assume wanted one…anywho.

Was out, spotted a thrift shop…walked in…probably looking like i was a flash for the clash…and found this most adorable shoulder wrap…or as i have been calling it..a shawl…even though it just popped into mind it was a shoulder wrap…anyway….$18 later, and I own this lovely, I assume faux fur wrap.
Though, I am kind of bugged about it being faux fur, as it really retains the smell of dust and such, but beggers cannot be choosers and for $18 I really cannot complain. Though I do like the feel of real fur to faux and less of the dusty smell…but i really do happen to like this wrap.

Weekend (i know) has been and passed, as today is “hump day” as commonly known to Alex and I…the weekend was spent with the lovely Kitten and also Alex’s mate Ughbuggbugg (Ugbugbug i like the way I spell it though).

Anyway, we had pasta…then mixed up some unique tasting cocktails, courtesy of Kitten…and then headed out to Sin…though Alex wasn’t feeling that crash hot…so ended up coming back an hour or two after heading out, but was good to get the little bit of a boogii on…though the music has been a bit, lacking these couple of weeks, it was still good…and I also came out of it was a mates hat…my bad! It’ll be returned though…I did promise, though it is a pretty sweet pirate hat.
Sunday, saw Alex and I awakening at mid-day, while kitten and ughbug were up a tad before us…we then proceeded to drop Ugh’s home…and went to Fast Eddy’s with the Kitten in tow…we had…Breakfest/Lunch…which we all seemed to enjoy, then proceeded onto the desert…which was a most scrumptious Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae…courtesy of the manager and he making it a tad bigger so all three of us could sample its delightful inside…which did not leave us lacking.
Then, took the lovely girl home…and passed out for some more nappings on our behalf.

Week has been pretty mediocre, wasn’t feeling great Tuesday so had to skip on the work times, but making up for it on Thursday eve…which is (i suppose) better as it is an extra hour and better rates.

a shopping experience.

So, here comes the pics as promised, of the shoes and other nic-naks that I purchased a week ago…

So, first would be the lovely T-bar shoes, that I got from http://www.topshop.com
I love them…

Then comes the shoes that I found at http://www.burlesquebaby.com.au/ whilst on sale…I loved them.

Then came the final pair of shoes from http://www.topshop.com
I feel in love with them on the site, and I just had to have them. They are so unique over here…kind of a flat crossed with the sole/back of a boot…totally brootal.

the lovely dangly bits that hang around the ankle (I know flash ruined it, but I love them all the same) has pearls, ribbons, chain (silver and gold)

and the back, which resembles a boot, with the ability to zip up or down to get your foot in or out.

I really have worked out, i do seem to have a spending issue when it comes to shoes recently, but I mean…shoes…can you really really blame me?

My snake bites…finally…for the second time.

yay! totally happy with those. (just ignore the fact i am make-up less as I just woke up…)

I also got, 3 pairs of fake lashes…two of which you can see in my “Tea anyone?” blog…
I adore the red lashes…they just make me happy.
The thrid pair are a pair of pale purple/blue…they do like quite wonderous.

Also, sadly…Effelburt

my lovely snakey ring, had his life…literally cut short.
You see, Alex(the boyfriend) and I were out doing some sword play the other afternoon, and being silly…like we were, weren’t wearing any protective gear…so as we were grappling with the swords, Alex’s sword sheers off my knuckles (ouch! taking skin) and cuts effelburt off his ring.

but it is alright, i am being told…because he can “fix it”. I do hope so, Effelburt was quite the charmer.

But, as Alex was feeling low…he thought he would replace Effelburt…and so, I give you Horton…

Because I do have an issue with naming everything animal related, just what i do.

So, then I also mentioned I purchased a pile of books…or I didn’t, and now you know.

I am quite bad, i’ve already read 5 of them.

I’ve been told I devour books…I cannot help if the story line sinks me into the book that I rarely ever want to put the goodness of the book down.

Also, thanks to my most wonderous best friend, Cailin…i got myself some clip in hair extensions, that actually match my hair colour at the moment!

In the middle

So, this is a mini, small iota of a post…

Just saying that this week, we had…
Aussie day, which was good…pics to come, I promise…

and,
I got my third pair of shoes!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally excited about that last one…means I can take pictures and show you all…well…Cailin, what they look like…and also show what happened when I went shopping last week with a couple of people.

I also have a new ring, but he is shy…so will be seen only at night and in the pics to come.

tea anyone

And so, yesterday…

We had an impromptu tea party…which was quite enjoyable…where we put on the facial funs and had some very delightful tea.

So after this small escapade have decided, that next time…we shall actually plan this out properly, and not just a random spur of the moment thing, and actually go the whole hog and do the dressing up as well. Which should be fun, but that did prove for a fun hour or two.

accustom to what?

and another week has passed us by, eh.

So I actually calculated that in this last week alone…I purchased three pairs of shoes, a new clutch bag, three pairs of fake eyelashes, a couple hair extensions, hot curl rollers, and a small-ish gift for 
Kitten
because she purchased me lots of the hair extensions.

So, this week, seeing as how I have no money left, unless I tap into my savings…I shall not be purchasing anything, though I am really drooling at a few of the mod clothes stores I have found online. I really do have a problem. Especially with the accessory thing…I didn’t even really need this new clutch, except for Australia Day (this Tuesday) where we shall be having a delightful dinner and are able to see the fireworks, as we are going to the revolving restaurant in Perth. Which I am really quite excited about, I am thinking of busting out the new shoes, bag and lashes with a nice dress I have, whilst curling the hair + extensions and attempting to add a bit of old school class to my outlook of the evening.

So, also got the Third series of Skins at JB Hi-Fi today, I just love this series, like the first two series’s were so good, except I will say the second series left me pretty much in tears, and a bit angry because I wanted to know what happened, but a third series, with a new cast…but maybe my wishes will be answered…I don’t think so, but maybe.

Went and saw the most awesome dinosaur exhibit at Perth museum, though it was a bit highly priced in my thoughts for such a small exhibit…though the dinosaurs were quite “alive” and I did get to see the T-rex which is my most loved dinosaur…yet they didn’t have the Diplodocus…so my boyfriend Alex, and I felt ripped off.

Kind of annoyed that I haven’t gotten my curlers yet…though I do hope they will be here on Monday, which gives me a day to play around with them before Tuesday eve, and I want my other top shop shoes to come through, I am so impatient…I know…but they look so awesome. You will all see when I get them and go snap crazy.

I’ve recently become addicted to Lady GaGa, that Bad Romance song is just so catchy, and I even bust some moves whilst in stores when I went shopping, i just love it. So, I downloaded the album, and it is pretty good…I do really like her tunes, she doesn’t sound totally synced out like a lot of other pop stars do, and she can actually sing…which is always a plus.
Also, her style is pretty damn win, in an odd round-a-bout type of way.

And so, I have…yet again, been pretty bad in the spending of my money department…

I went to get my other side of my lip pierced. And then ended up buying another pair of shoes, fake eye-lashes, a dvd called “Enchanted” because, well…I like it, and THEN I now have another 8 books to read, even though like 4 of them I have already read, I had to get them. It was at a book exchange place where a friend has a LOT of credits and so I was able to get the books for like…$5.00, lucky, I know. Though I would be hard pressed to exchange my books, i get pretty tied to them and now am prone to hate lending them out when I lent a whole 5book series out, and all the books came back to me with dogged edges, and the spine was all cracked and pages even fell out, I was totallu guttered by that experience….anywho.

So, it would seem that these shoes I purchased today, were the third pair I have purchased this week. I got my awesome t-bar ones from Top Shop yesterday, ordered these most delightful flats from Top Shop, which should be coming by monday, and then the heels from Burlesque Baby (link here: http://www.burlesquebaby.com.au/ )so, when the pair of flats have arrived, I will upload all the photos to show you guys my shoesies. =3

So, I got the right side of my bottom lip re-pierced…so I have snake-bites again, which I do happen to love. The guy who pierced me “Ugly” was sooo cool, he was really good with the whole hygenie and care bits, making sure I had done everything, and knew what to do correctly…which was cool…and then he was chattering to me through the whole piercing, though to me it actually didn’t really hurt, but he chattered away still which I did find comforting, seeing as how a guy was all up in my grill, and to me anyone being that close to my face all of a sudden can really freak me out, unless of course I know who they are. I was sooo tempted to get an Industrial done though, they had a $50 for any piercing…so a hundred for two piercings and free aftercare…so bloody tempting, but I didn’t go through with it…mayhap in the next month or two, i shall get it but not just yet.

So,  ever had those people who just try to act like your friend, but you just know they aren’t? I seem to have found one such person…she just, makes crude jokes involving my partner, a few weekends ago made a comment about how even though he was taken, she’d still go him…and me being, well quite a jealous type retorted with, you may be bigger then me, but I can sure pack a punch. So, that evening left me riled followed by another weekend, which was really good to see my other two mates, yet for her to try to talk to him and ignore me…just, left a sour taste in my mouth…so we left early, because he was feeling very uncomfortable in her company…sorry Cailin. But yeah, I’m not sure what to quite do in this situation at this moment but well it seems I should just let it be for the moment.

funny, isn’t it

And so, i’ve been down a bit these last few days, where people in the household have noted that I have been a bit quiet, which leads me to know I have been really down.

The only issue I am really having with this small bout of sadness is…I don’t actually know what it is that is causing it. I’ve got brighter red hair…that didn’t snap it, i’ve purchased some tres adorable heels from Top Shop…nope didn’t do it.  I even caved and decided to purchase some new hot hair curlers as my vintages ones from the 70′s decided to be tempremental and burn my poor little fingers…all of  that hasn’t even snapped me out of it…I really do not know what it is. I have read the last two books of a series I have been wanting to finish…I will probably go and do my nails to see if that will work, but I don’t see it working…I just don’t get what it is that has triggered it, and have no idea how to stop it…i’m normally pretty good with it, but this time…no idea.

I suppose that is how life goes sometimes though. Except I can see a positive out of this, I finally broke my spell with brain death and was able to write some pieces down, it also helped when I was looking through http://lickmycupcakes.wordpress.com ‘s tumblr, the pictures on there really inspired me to write.

On another note, I did get my hair brightened, only issue is…it still hasn’t turned out how I want it..which has quite disheartened me, I wanted bright bright red, yet it is probably brighter then I have ever had it..it really isn’t bright enough. So, next time..I will be asking to get it stripped and then to put the red over the top to get it to the ronald mcdonald love child colour I so desperately want…like a life of death type of desperate, which I find weird, because I normally do not mind with my hair, but this, it seems I urgently want my hair that colour. Oh well, it’ll sort itself out in the end, I do suppose.

I’d like to admit…I have an accessory problem, I am just addicted to them, on sale..well I go into a frenzy, I cannot help but buy, some women have it with shoes…I seem to have it with accessories.
